Bellewaerde Theme Park

We recommend visiting Bellewaerde Theme Park if you're looking to add excitement to your next history tour!

The park is the perfect addition to your battlefields trip, located in Zonnebeke near Ypres, it's within just 10-15 minutes from the main town centre and easily accessible by coach.

Boasting 34 exciting attractions, the park combines an amusement park, animal park and nature park. Add to that the Bellewaerde Aquapark and your day is bursting with fun!

 

Whilst the main focus of the three days was the daytime activities, students also clearly enjoyed their time together and particularly the evenings in the hostel. The Messines Hostel is a superb venue with great facilities and plentiful food. Students were able to relax through playing a variety of card games and sports but also sitting around chatting about their experiences of the day.
