The London Dungeon

The London Dungeon needs little introduction - given that it's been an iconic London attraction for over 50 years and is still remains one of the most popular visits in the capital for school groups! Featuring interactive shows, special effects, and actors telling stories from over 1000 years of London's history - it provides a hands-on opportunity to explore significant events and characters from London's past, as well as the chance for students to have fun and create lasting memories together.

If you're looking for a way to add more excitement to your UK history tour, a visit to The London Dungeon is a great option. Not only will your students have loads of fun, but it also offers a fun change of pace from the solely educational elements of your London history trip.

The best part was watching the students be engaged with what both of the tour guides had to say. As a result of this, students were asking questions to deepen their understanding, all responses were delivered in an age appropriate manner. Students are using the knowledge that they learnt for the tour and within their exam answers. Through going on a walking tour the guides brought to life the conditions and the realities of living in Whitechapel during the 1800s.
